The day that a woman is released from prison is exciting and terrifying. The months ahead will be hard as she learns to live a different life than the one she had before prison. Her chances of succeeding are very slim. Without assistance more 50% will return to prison within 3 years.
We help them start off fresh with a tote bag filled with a few necessities. Then we follow up with them, send them notes, help them find a job, invite them to events and bring them to church. We want them to have an alternative to going back to their old lifestyle.
